David Benzaquen
David is a leading expert in the plant-based food industry with 20 years in corporate strategy consulting, entrepreneurship, and investing. He founded and sold one of the first plant-based seafood companies and advises multiple food accelerators and venture capital funds. His work has been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Fast Company, Wired, Inc., and CNN.
Born in France and raised across three continents, David is a true third-culture kid. He now lives in New York with his wife and their two plant-based kids.

Blythe Whitten-Snarr
Blythe has spent 8 years working in market insights, go-to-market strategy, positioning, branding, and early marketing execution for alt protein startups. She now focuses on brand strategy, empowering clients to carve out space in the market and in consumers’ minds in a way that is clear, consistent, and compelling.
Blythe lives in the Finger Lakes of New York with her fiancé, who is a seventh-generation farmer, and their dog Luna. She loves cooking (eating) plant-based food, drawing, and long, backroads-y drives.

Joseita Tesolin
Joseita leads research and insight development, focusing on helping plant-based food and ingredient companies understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Her work spans market sizing, trend, and category analysis—translating complex data into clear, actionable strategy. She is particularly passionate about using qualitative research to uncover unmet needs and turning those insights into strategic frameworks that drive client growth.
Born and raised in Toronto, she has lived abroad since 2018, exploring Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She loves travelling, hiking, learning languages, and discovering new vegan food.

Jo Anderson
Jo brings a decade of experience in consumer and customer research, as well a PhD in social psychology and years of post-doctoral research in advanced qualitative and quantitative consumer research methodologies to her work. Mission: Plant works closely with Jo to better understand customer pain points and develop products, branding, value propositions, and messaging that address those needs.
