Retail & DTC Launch of Plant-Based Ready Meals
Objective: Our client wanted to understand the market opportunity for shelf-stable plant-based ready meals in the US. They then wanted help to develop and execute on a GTM strategy for their products.
Deliverables
We provided the client with a robust report of the plant-based and conventional egg markets, as well as the competitive landscape across food service and retail in the United States. We partnered with our sister company Moonshot Collaborative to conduct in-depth interviews with egg consumers using the Jobs to be Done framework. The client used these insights to inform the go-to-market strategy for their US launch.
Results
We delivered an in-depth market and competitive analysis to determine the best strategy for commercialization. We also produced a robust revenue model that mapped out all costs associated with running the business both in retail and DTC. We worked with selected partners to develop the website on Shopify and engage with customers through email marketing and paid media.
